These photographs have been used for PERCEIVE project to design a new method to digitally rejuvenate the painting The Scream (1910?), by placing analogue archival records in conjunction with analytical data that informs the process of deterioration in the painting.
The 4 analogue colour photographs of the painting were recorded in 1971, 1989, 1993, and 2003 and the research aims to restore the artwork's colors to how they appeared when the photos were taken.

Colored analogic photography

For the colored photographs, analogic technique of photography has been used as follows: Kodak film in 1971, two large format Agfa films taken in 1989 and 1993, and a 35 mm Fuji film shot in 2003.
